Momogoose is the country’s first food truck social enterprise. Based in Boston/Cambridge, Momogoose was founded by MIT alums in 1989. We specialize in gourmet, healthy Southeast Asian cuisine. Vegan, vegetarian, and non-vegetarian.
As Howard Hughes Medical Institute alum, we take a geeky approach to cooking. Our scientifically-driven cooking maximizes taste, while minimizing fats & calories.
We invest profits to local and global charities, including the United Nation’s World Food Programme via our “Meal for Meal" Initiative.
What does “Momogoose” mean? ”Goose” comes from our old Cambridge restaurant, called Poppa & Goose.
"Momo" is short for "more eating, more sharing". This speaks to our meal donations throughout the year. The more you eat, the more you share with the world. Good food is meant to be shared.
